The Understudies strives to make theatre more engaging, more inclusive, and more accessible in Wilkes. Finding it both an honor and a privilege to give back to the community through its art, The Understudies often links arms with other non-profit and civic groups that are making a positive impact in the community.

Adapted by Bettye Knapp, The House At Pooh Corner follows Christopher Robin and his friends Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger and the rest as they run away together to avoid being sent off to this place called Education. As the situation becomes clearer, Christopher Robin isn't quite so sure that running away is the answer.
The Spotlight Organization for this production is Safe Spot Child Advocacy Center. The Understudies is honored to share 20% of all ticket sales with Safe Spot in support of the vital programs and services it provides to children and families in Wilkes County.
